Create Your Way to Success

Do you have a list…are you checkin’ it twice? If not, you’re probably paying people like me big bucks to market your products for you. Now, I enjoy the work and - of course - the pay, but in reality you can do the same thing yourself - for a LOT less money. Sound good? So what does it take to successfully market your own products?

1. Experience Yeah, we know that experience can come the hard way - through real life lessons that aren’t always fun, easy or pleasant. But experience can also be gathered through reading about, and listening to the insight of others. These are the results of pain and triumph that stem from what other have learned through the hard knocks of business. Yep, that’s my kind of learning - from the cushions of a sofa or relaxed in front of the computer - let them do the hard work.

2. Innovation On the other hand, innovation is a horse of a different color. There’s no easy way to get creativity, you just have to let go and experiment. No sirree, I’m not talking about blind experiments - they’re liable to blow the place up. And forget the goofy clothes and those nerdy glasses, they’re not really the keys to creativity. This is where the list comes into the picture.

Bet you didn’t think innovation and lists had a lot in common. Really, creativity is just being able to come up with a list of possiblities and systematically check them off. Think of Thomas Edison. He experimented with hundreds of materials before he found the one that made the lights come on - literally.

Now we all have wish lists, but those are relegated to Santa and his elves. The lists we need to create are concrete. You might want to browse the pages of “Think and Grow Rich” by Napolean Hill where you’ll find thirteen principals that made more than 500 businessmen successful. (The book itself has known great success as number six on the USA Today best seller list.) Dig into this heavy duty stuff, and create yourself a list of the things that will make you successful.

Success strategies, principals, purpose… You’ll find that just having a list of the possible ways to go the extra mile, or to make your customers feel like they’ve got the best buy for their buck will boost your marketing success.

Stay tuned! I’ll be unveiling another type of list that will maximize your marketing venture.

Dedicated To Your Further Success.

All the best,
